A Class of Nested Iteration Schemes for Generalized Coupled Sylvester Matrix Equation
Global Krylov subspace methods are the most efficient and robust methods to solve generalized coupled Sylvester matrix equation. In this paper, we propose the nested splitting conjugate gradient process for solving this equation. This method has inner and outer iterations, which employs the generalized conjugate gradient method as an inner iteration to approximate each outer iterate, while each...
متن کاملA stable iteration to the matrix inversion
The matrix inversion plays a signifcant role in engineering and sciences. Any nonsingular square matrix has a unique inverse which can readily be evaluated via numerical techniques such as direct methods, decomposition scheme, iterative methods, etc. In this research article, first of all an algorithm which has fourth order rate of convergency with conditional stability will be proposed. ...
متن کاملDiagonal and Monomial Solutions of the Matrix Equation AXB=C
In this article, we consider the matrix equation $AXB=C$, where A, B, C are given matrices and give new necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of the diagonal solutions and monomial solutions to this equation. We also present a general form of such solutions. Moreover, we consider the least squares problem $min_X |C-AXB |_F$ where $X$ is a diagonal or monomial matrix. The explici...
متن کاملA numerical algorithm for solving a class of matrix equations
In this paper, we present a numerical algorithm for solving matrix equations $(A otimes B)X = F$ by extending the well-known Gaussian elimination for $Ax = b$. The proposed algorithm has a high computational efficiency. Two numerical examples are provided to show the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
متن کاملA new Approximation to the solution of the linear matrix equation AXB = C
It is well-known that the matrix equations play a significant role in several applications in science and engineering. There are various approaches either direct methods or iterative methods to evaluate the solution of these equations. In this research article, the homotopy perturbation method (HPM) will employ to deduce the approximated solution of the linear matrix equation in the form AXB=C....
